About Light Their Path

This mission began in 2016 when a member of a local small group felt led to create a Bible mission as a result of a Bible study inspired by “Living on Purpose” by Pastor Rick Warren. By October of that same year, the group decided to provide children’s Bibles to a local Christmas charity to distribute to families within the local community. This decision resulted in the procurement of 1,200 third-grade reading-level Bibles designed for children. The group wrapped them and prepared for delivery alongside the Christmas charity on the first weekend in December. No small task, but God is good and faithful to his servants, and the children were blessed!

Light Their Path is a growing ministry that has delivered more than 14,000 Bibles and still counting. Light Their Path remain grateful for the generous financial support and a growing group of volunteers that make this ministry possible.

How many Bibles have you distributed?

Since our foundation in 2016, we have distributed over 14,000 children’s Bibles.

How are Bibles distributed?

We distribute Bibles in a variety of ways including special events, partnerships with churches and other ministry-focused organizations, and by stocking local Little Lending Libraries.

How can I get a Bible for a child?

Who are the Bibles made for?

The Adventure Bibles we give out are tailored to a third grade reading level and include several interactive, thought-provoking tools throughout.

How are we funded?

Light Their Path receives support through kind donation from churches, groups, and individuals who value our mission. You can help provide a Bible to a child for less than $20.

Where do you distribute Bibles?

While most of our Bible distributions have occurred in the East-Central Indiana area, we have been able to partner with churches and other organizations around the country and globe.
